About Rory Lagodzki

Rory is a Bloomington, Indiana-based artist. He received his BFA in animation from Ball State University. He specializes character animation and is open to gaining more knowledge and skills in the future.

 

Furthermore, Rory has aspired to enter the animation industry since elementary school. He first fostered his love of drawing creatures and animals and continues to use this interest as inspiration. He takes this earlier fascination into account when subverting norms and critiquing aspects of the human experience through his work; such as in regards to gender, inclusivity, culture, and human nature. He hopes to reflect on what he's learned in his life through his art to promote empathy and understanding. His biggest dream is to create animated content for a large audience with these values.

 

In his spare time when he isn't drawing or animating, Rory enjoys engaging in fictional media, deep conversations, learning obscure facts, and petting his dog. He has a surreal sense of humor and believes in making work fun.
